That's not entirely true. If you have an exploitable 3DS then you can install a hacked/converted CIA and play it in CFW.

Once IronHax is used for CFW launching then it will. There are many different hacks to do this on 9.2 and below.

Yeah, I basically just stole Asia's tutorial and made a video. Also, I made a comment saying you couldn't play online, but that was me being and idiot and forgetting to put a custom header on the .3ds or whatever. I mainly use cia's, and someone else reported that it works online.
