Homebrew Super Metroid settings

Hi, I would like to know what are the best settings in SNEmulDS 0.6 to play Super Metroid at a normal speed, with no slowdowns and no graphical gliches.

Not going to happen, sorry. If you disable vblank to increase speed, you get that half-second lag for screen updating. Setting it to wait vblank disables this but makes most areas run slower.

Here's what I posted at PocketHeaven several months ago. Keep in mind this was in v0.5 Beta, so some of the settings have changed names since then. For instance, the vblank setting is now "fast speed" vs "normal speed".

I played Super Metroid quite a bit during my week-long trip to Wisconsin and found a couple of minor details. For some bosses, you'll need to change the BG layers to 2031 in order to see them, but this sometimes makes the HUD invisible (energy level, missile count, etc). Still playable though. Also, the issue where the background lags for a second appears to be present in "No Vlbank" mode only - setting it to Wait Vblank fixes this, but this often makes it too slow. Otherwise, I'm finding the game to be very playable. Like was previously mentioned, a few of the priorities aren't correct, but I don't find it to be that much of an issue.

Thanks! I would also like to know if it's normal that sometimes, in Street Fighter II, I have to reset the game to have the sound working properly.
