I lol'd. For once, IGN was right and not IGNorant, they make a very good point that Team Meat just doesn't get.

Anyway, you have the game developer/publisher's permission now, so I guess pirating Super Meat Boy is now legal. Go for it.

The guy is right. I did the same too. Pirated it, found it awesome, bought it.

Did the same with Portal 2, too.

I haven't bought a game since Doom 3 without pirating it first, and I buy more games than anyone else I know by far.

Lol, similar to me. The last game I bought (not counting gifts for me) was Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, on the day it came out. Team Meat doesn't understand that a vast majority of piraters don't feel guilty. Look at the PSP. Piracy went sky high for that system, and caused the system to pretty much go dead early.

Sorry Xuphor but no, I was saying my "accepting" piracy as a try before you buy method is both a) a totally honest and legitimate claim and b) has directly lead to me spending more money on games, and to the devs that I think deserve it most. Doom 3 was the straw that broke the camel back so to speak. I still resent id for trying to fob off that tech demo as a game.

Oh well, so I misread what you said. My point still stands, all of my friends that pirate are like me when it comes to buying them. Another exception is when we spot a rare game in Gamestop for a cheap price.

I will though totally but in a having to think about it and begrudgingly way admit, I have hardly bought any music or movies in the same time period.
