    Here's the sad true story. SNES is 3Mhz. DS has ARM7 (33 MHz) and ARM 9 (66MHz) The golden rule of emulation is 10x strength. But some SNES games had special co-processors on them. On SMRPG there is a chip called the SA-1. Read up about it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_SA-1
