The 3ds seeing this woe, has now been spread to Nintendo Switch, with the New super mario Party being leaked a few days before release(the 5th).

It seems it's way bigger than pkmnSM leaks aswell, from having more sources to download the game than older leaks.

sucks to see switch with rampant piracy like this already, but sure is gonna be fun seeing new threads pop up with "why am I banned?"

the game being out in the wild two days before release is not a leak.

people order games online.

games come before release through the post.
yah, but you're not supposed to get till the fifth no?
yeah Journalists get it early, and so on and so forth, but I don't think general public gets it early?

edit, I thought it was the 1st of oct, lmao

dude did you even read my post.

people order games online.

retailers send games out to get to people on release day.

they often come before release day.

this is not a leak.

Some physical retailers do this often as well. Mostly small mom and pop shops, but every now and again you'll see someone post about how Walmart or Target or some other big chain store stocked copies of a game a couple days before it's official release date, or someone who works for Gamestop or something will get shipments in a couple days so they can "prep" the store and such and they'll just take a copy home. Stuff like this happens quite frequently, so I would agree and not really call it a "leak".

sucks to see switch with rampant piracy like this already
Why? 99% of switch owners not gonna hack their system anyway. People seem to think "rampant" console piracy exist, but we are actually a minescule number.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I like that motherboard article, will encourage more to hack their switch.

Um, I remember around Wii/DS time GameStop workers would get boxes sealed, and if for some reason the package was opened and the shipment was recalled (missing Manuel ect), then the store would get a warning from Nintendo, and after a few times that store would no longer be allowed to sell Nintendo games. (Idk if this has ever happened)

Oh yeah those new 8000 CPUs have AI cores built in that's interesting
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Maybe they plan on offloading to the CPU?
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Would be kinda cool to have the CPU and GPU working in random more

    Tandem even

i think i heard of that, it's a good idea, shouldn't need a dedicated GPU just to run a LLM or video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the nvidia shield tv has AI video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
LLMs can be run on cpu anyway but it's quite slow

Have you ever been beaten by a wet spaghetti noodle by your girlfriend because she has a twin sister, and you got confused and fucked her dad?

I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
They would have the same hair style the same clothes everything... Really messed with my head lol

@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i don't think nvidia wants to get in the x64 cpu market anyways
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
you've seen how much intel is struggling getting into the gpu market
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
and nvidia is already doing ARM
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i don't think they want to take more focus away from their gpus
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah I think Nvidia s future lays in AI GPU acceleration stuff if they can get that going it's going to be super interesting in the long term
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
AI assisted game creation might become a thing

At least that's something I think would be pretty cool.

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@Psionic Roshambo AI assisted game creation is kinda already here, there was recently that AI that can turn any 2D image into a fully modeled 3D object, it's not perfect, but it's a starting point, beats starting from zero
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
before that there was one to generate a fully modeled scene from a 2D image
