Hacking Super Mario Galaxy 2 is black and white

Hello,

I am running config usb loader ver 61 with 249 ver 20 and when I run Super Mario Galaxy 2 it is black and white. The other games I have work fine. When I put the disk in it is in color. Any ideas?

Set the video mode to NTSC

If it's the PAL version you'll need component cables (480p) to view the game in color.

I forced it to NTSC and is now working!! Why do I have to do it with this game and not the others?

You had to do that because it is a PAL game, while the other games you have are NTSC.

All he had to do is to change the video signal in the cfg loader settings to his TV region. This has nothing to do with cables and he certainly could not have gotten a brick..
