I'm using a pal game with a pal system so unless somebody changed the cartridge's pcb with an ntsc one it's not the case. At least I'm not getting the piracy messages because of region problem. There must be something wrong with the pcb.

I'm not using any game altering device. Simply plugging the cartridge in the console.
Tried with and without the controllers.

Isn't that screen also triggered, when the battery is dead?

Otherwise, maybe dirty contacts in your snes / on the pcb.
