Abby the Flower Enthusiast released Version 1.1 of Super Mario 64 DS Hack: Skyland Resort in Super Mario 64 DS.
Download link:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ND9i...
"Obviously credit to Skelux for the original Sky Land Resort Model and textures.
Gota7 for his tutorials on hacking SM64DS and providing an answer to many of my questions when I had issues with things.
Shugabush for teaching me how to set the default character to be Mario opposed to Yoshi.
The SM64DS Hacking Discord in general.
There's a few other unfinished Star Road levels in the rom, and if you hace access to SM64DSE you can use them if you want
(I'm looking at you, Oreo lol),
I was planning to make an update to add them but eventually got bored of it. I'm not saying that I'm quiting SM64DS hacking, just porting Star Road."

How to patch:
1. Get a European/"Wet 'n wild" version of SM64DS
2. Open xdeltaUI.exe
3. Choose the Sky Land Resort patch as the patch.
Choose your European rom as the original file.
Select an output directory and click "Patch".

Version 1.01:
- Changed Luigi's textures to match the way
Mario looks.

Version 1.1:
- The patch actually works now? WOW!!!
- Fixed the texture animation for the water in SLR
- The music no longer induces ear bleeds (hopefully)
- Better textures for many things to match the style
of Mario's Holiday/Star World

Known Issues:
- Music audio cuts out after collecting a 100 coin star or a star in the hub.
- Many textures are connected incorrectly.
This is due to how the model for SLR was extracted, and is entirely fixable, but I haven't done it due to lazyness.
I may come back to this eventually and fix it.

One of the sites that weren't blocked on the school's network was some file uploading sites. I would upload some games, write down the URL and take it to school one day.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
