Thanks a lot for the clarification!

So far I know about these ports:

-3DS
-Android
-Dreamcast
-MS-DOS
-Playstation 2
-Playstation Portable
-Playstation Vita
-Switch
-Wii U

Don't know if there have been any "new" port added, but would love to see a Wii port, don't know if its possible though.
since how long has there been a dos port?

All SM64 ports, except this and PS4, came out on August/September 2020.

It was first developed by Mkst, in a barely playable form due slow software rendering performance, and then fgsfdsfgs added the mesaGL hardware renderer, making it playable at 60FPS on a really powerful PC from those days or just PCem emulator.

While this is amazing, Super Mario 64 DS is a better game that the Nintendo 64 version, despite using Yoshi making the game be in easy mode.

Edit: I wonder when we will get a 3DS/2DS port? Despite everything it is one of my favourite games for the Nintendo 64, warts and all. Is just that once you unlock Mario on the DS game Yoshi stops being so annoying. Unless you are going for 100% complexion the you have to use Yoshi the whole game to save time.

Gericom's 2DS/3DS port was the first SM64 console port ever (except N64, of course).

If you are talking about a flawless performance port, well, that's another story.

Maybe on the HD 3DS/2DS those things have more powerful hardware that a PS Vita.

Then again the PS2 port LAGS... thankfully is only when saving.

Could i be able to run this on my 3DS XL?
If so, what would i need and how does it emulate, is it fast?

I have twilight menu by the way...
Of course; I've tested it on my 3DS through TWiLightMenu. It's not incredibly useful though, considering there's an actual 3DS port with better graphics than what the DS can do :P
Although it doesn't technically emulate since it's a port and 3DS runs DS/DSi stuff natively

apparently I'm the only dumb getting a "nds.h no such file or directory" while compiling. I found it online and placed it into the src folder but then it falls in another missing .h file. What am I missing? if somebody could point me out some directions I'd appreciate it.

I think that means you don’t have devkitpro installed
