I mean, how else would I have exported the bones? No hints were really dropped... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But don't worry about it anyway... I got it working and got bored of it a few hours ago already, lol.
I have a 3D model variant of my avatar I was gonna swap the Mario model out for, but I was having trouble applying textures in 3DS Max (I'm a 3DS Max noob! ) so I scrapped the idea.OOOOOOOH what did you make man

I created the 3D model myself. My avatar is my own creation, if you aren't aware. So you weren't able to make the model then? How did you even get a 3D version of your avatar?
Oh that's pretty cool!! I'm wanting to import a Kid Goku model into my game but I have no idea where to start. Is the tutorial in this thread outdated or is it still good to use?I created the 3D model myself. My avatar is my own creation, if you aren't aware.
I think this is still the definitive tutorial to use. I don't think there are any new methods for model swapping as far as I'm aware. (Although I have heard about model swapping tutorials for Pokémon games, but I think that may use the same or a similar method; I'm not too sure).Oh that's pretty cool!!
