Hardware Super Card on GBA getting garbled movies

I am trying to convert DVDs using the DVD converter beta.
I have a bunch of SD cards so I bought 2 Super Cards for my sons' GBAs. I thought it might be cool if they could watch movies in the car.
So anyway, I have coverted a couple movies and they play fine on my computer at the end of the process. But when I move them to the Super card they are pixelated and garbled.

I am using the the filmplay.gba to play them or at least try to play them.

Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this problem?

Hmm...I don't think it gets much better on the GBA screen...whats the latest release of FilmPlay?

You MUST use the converter that matches the firmware version to get vids that aren't garbled. I found this out the hard way.

I updated both Super Cards to firmware 1.7 and I am using movie converter version 1.22. What are you using that works?

Also, should I use the GBM or the GBA settings? I know, it's probably GBA, but I just wanna be sure.

Thanks all, I figured it out.

I am using filmplay.gba version 1.3, so I need to use the movie converter version 1.3.

My four year old can now watch Over the Hedge on his Gameboy Advance SP.
