There was a HDD device for the wii released a few years ago called sundriver. Similar to the WODE, It never really took off as softmods covered the loading from HDD need.

Can anyone on gbatemp with a sundriver confirm if it supports playback of gamecube streaming audio? (The WODE doesn't, it's just silent).

what about using a actual retail gamecube game that normally has audio streaming issues through sd and usb loaders, will that work?

That's off-topic, but yes, I'm pretty sure that works.

A retail disk plays the streaming audio just fine, but dios mios (lite) doesn't play the streaming audio on gamecube backups.
