Hi guys, I'm from italy and I just want to let you all know that I just bought a new sealed PS4 Slim with the wrong firmware.
The P/N is P-27452373-F and comparing to the numbers on the flow chart it was correct and there was no need to watch the SERIAL, so when i opened i saw a SERIAL greater than the limit for 4.05 firmware and even the datecode on the console was strange (7A). Well, this is just to inform you and to prevent mistakes. Now I'm selling it LOL.

You must check the SERIAL in Slim only for 27452396 model.

SERIAL is reset to zero every time that Sony release a new subtype of PS4 (new P/N)

A Slim 27452373 with SERIAL 999999999 is older than a Slim 27452396 with SERIAL 000000001, you can’t compare theirs SERIALs if theirs P/N numbers (27452396 & 27452373) are differents.

I ordered same version in Dubai, but later I cancelled and ordered fr ps4 fat 2nd gen. (I have read from posts that it has FW <4.05, but recently one guy has posted FW It has is 4.06 or so) its a 50:50 chance

If P/N number is lower than 27452396 (27452373) this PS4 EURO Slim is < 4.05 for sure.
If P/N number is equal to 27452396 you have to check the SERIAL number to know about firmware version.

Hello guys, so I understand that a P-27452396 has to be checked for serial. But I didn't find the serial list anywhere.
Is the serial S01-2289857-B (or R...can't make it out) good?
It is a slim 1TB version without any games sold in Europe, that I found with the lowest product key in my town.
