I'm not sure this is the appropriate forum to discuss your peacock, but yes, grab your peacock firmly and wrap the duck tape around twice. Careful doing this with your chicken however, chickens have a tendency to choke if wrapped too tightly. I can't count the times I've choked my chicken with duck tape. I even choked another guy's chicken once, but luckily he wasn't too mad about it.

Yep, that's stupid alright. Although it might not be hard to take advantage of a warenty in this situation... given that it isn't sent in with the duct tape still on the console.
