A bunch of New Zealand tricksters killed grass in the form of giant penises all around their school's property—and now the internet has made it forever.

The stunt was discovered by a gentleman browsing the neighborhood for property, when he stumbled upon not the dream lot, but a bunch of giant penises visible from space. Quite a shock!

This is really the internet in microcosm. Penises, trickery, Google, and, uh, New Zealand.[/p]

I hope the picture doesn't violate the ToS. [IMG]

Just when you thought the stripping of 11 year old was crazy, get a load of this.

Not the first time this has been done. Not by a long shot.
    But it's amusing.

don't compare the news about the 11-yo boy with this.. that wasn't very funny.

this is a funny prank, though those who did this might get punished. still a good one.

I'm pretty sure that's the school my friend Sian went to. I sent her the link, see what she says. Either way, while as a general rule I don't condone acts like this, since it's really just grafitti and no better than '___ woz ere 20__' written on every wall ever built by man, but I tip my hat to the kids who has the stones to do something this big. Takes a lot of courage to risk your entire school career and therefore your standing in the adult world via the job market on a prank. Use that courage for something more constructive and you'll do fine.

Incidentally if the kids aren't in prison or at the least detention, and they do requests, can you perhaps act as my backup singers? See, my uber bitch of a supervisor has just revealed she's expecting her first child. So we asked what she'd call it. And she said if it's a boy she'll call it Kyle. You can see what I've got planned for when I eventually quit...

    Warning: Spoilers inside!

Seriously, it'll be the last thing I ever do there, and only after I've scored a replacement job, but damn, what a way to quit.

Hope you're being sarcastic there because you have to be very immature to think that's amusing.

Oh come on Brian. Yeah it's juvenile. Yeah it's vandalism. But it's not permanent.
By next year the grass will grow back, and the only ones that will remember the incident are...well...us.

Might as well laugh about it.

In terms of immaturity, this beats that by a LONG shot. I caught the pranksters in action, but I didn't do anything because if they get in trouble, or fell off (you'll see), ain't my problem. [IMG]

    Warning: Spoilers inside!

Although this wasn't on Google Earth... [IMG]

There was a time here in Coventry when a group of local miscreants went to the Canal Basin bridge and painted over the C. I didn't have a camera phone at the time though, so I missed it [IMG]

Drawing a phallic symbol is just so old in the book and not very funny at all. All I'm saying is that it seems like everybody draws a penis like it's something new and exciting and never before done.

If a giant CDC no longer amuses you then you have my pity. If you share the same opinion of flatulence then there really is no hope for you.

Few images in this world are as universal as a phallus.
What should they draw instead? A scale replica of the Nazca Lines?
    There's no humor in that.
