Hi everyone,

I don't normally post here because I have been lucky with the great tutorials on this site.
Anyway my problem is that I wanted to virginize my wii but once I updated to 4.0 I got errors anytime I tried to uninstall an IOS.
So I tried the bannerbomb thing and then that did not work too well. I think the problem is that my wii is blocking access to the NAND.
So then I tried the firmware downgrader. I told it to downgrade to 3.2E so it downloaded all the files and in the end it said "downgrade failed".
However when I checked the firmware in the system menu it said 3.2.
This is were I get my conculsion:
I tried again to run something that accessed the NAND: "Hack Remover" following this tut: http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=133557
However it failed (again...

So I think I am kinda in between 3.2 and 4.0...

SO if anyone can shed some light on this madness I would be highly satisfied...

do you have the sd menu channel on you system menu?
is you do then your on 4.0
if not your on 3.2

to virginize a wii:
2)Run AnyTitle Deleter DB.
2.1)Go to the System Titles (Topmost)
2.2)Delete all the IOS above the number 200 (249, 254, etc) by pressing A, twice
2.3)Go back up to the Categories screen by pressing "B"
2.4)Go to the Installed Channel Titles
2.5)Look for "HAXX" title or Homebrew Channel. Uninstall it.
2.6)Look for any other pirated WW/VC, USB Loader Games Channels, homebrew applications channels. Delete if found.

3)Run NANDClean.
3.1)Press A on everything
3.2)Ignore the last prompt but it will ask you to press "+" and "-" instead of A (It's a dangerous uninstallation). Don't press the buttons
3.3)Exit by pressing any other buttons.

4)Update your Wii using the "Update Firmware" function in the Settings Menu

Thanks for the reply.

Ok so I have 3.2...
Sorry this is my fault but I actually don't want to fully virginize...
Just back to the point where I have just installed the HBC?
Thanks!

That didn't work...
When I try to uninstall an IOS it says:

"-Deleting ticket file /ticket/0000001/000000fa.tik...
Ticket delete failed(No ticket?) -102
-Deleting title file /title/0000001/000000fa...
Error! ISFS_Delete(ret = -102)
Press any key..."

??
Thanks!

EDIT: Sorry for the double post...
