I have successfully flashed an old xenon xbox with a hitachi 48 with lt 2.0+. Is there a workaround for xgd3 backup under mac os x?

Shouldn't there be a way to run IMGBurn?
Also, to fully burn XGD3, an hacked iHAS is needed or a compatible Burner Max payload tool drive.

Unfortunately, Hitachi drives require you to have an iHAS for XGD3 games. Contrary to popular belief - truncating the games (using standard DVD drives to burn the games) works fine for the majority of games. In the case of Hitachi drives though, apparently the firmware doesn't support the booting of those burns. Assuming you have an iHAS drive already, IMGburn should already detect you have the proper drive. If not - you're stuck with XGD2 games unless you get the drive. Check ABGX360.net to see what games are XGD3 and what games aren't. Anything that doesn't state "XGD3" in the wave tile means it'll boot.
