Some people I used to know at Jpopsuki used to DJ there, haven't actually ever gone in as I'm too old for places like that and am averse to randoms calling out Sweetyman! But yeah, London sucks/wins on a daily basis

Still none... I know one other kid in school with one, but he is a complete noob, and obviously doesn't use Streetpass, or even know about it.

When we were swapping Friend Codes, he thought it was in the settings, then he thought you had to quit out of your game to get to the Friend's list...

Like I said before, concert at Madison Square Garden tomorrow. If I don't get a hit there, I am going to consider Streetpass an epic failure.

Oh, I didn't think this thread would take off so well.

I pawed through every page; I'm glad some people have found their initial tags. I hope everyone keeps the mentality to leave the system asleep when you bring it along; I haven't had a hit since my first one but It's a habit for me now!

The system is still new so matches will be kind of scarce but it's really rewarding when it does happen, keep at it

Well my friend found one stranger on his 3DS and about 5 friends. (I guess his friends don't count though)
This was in I.T block in college.

I guess this is the epitome of streetpass, the first few weeks after 3DS is launched. After that people will slowly stop bringing their 3DS out with them until eventually no one finds each other apart from at festivals, busy town centres and airports. :/ I hope I'm wrong though.

Wouldn't it be the other way around?
The more people with 3DS' the better the chance of meeting.

Not yet. I brought mine on a walk to the grocery store today, but no luck. I live in a pretty small town though so I'm sure I'll never cross ways with someone who also has a 3DS with them in sleep mode

Streetpass reminds me of Skannerz. I was so excited the first time I found someone randomly on my Skannerz while I was on vacation and went to some mall. I was surprised I found anyone.

I've found no-one.
Took it on the train with me to work this afternoon, and I work in a petrol station so I would have been able to connect with anyone who brought one through there too, but no such luck.

Saw a few in the Japan Centre today [main site] with 3DS' gabbering away about Street pass and throwing in random Japanese words making them look even more stupid than they dressed [learn the language dammit!] spamming special moves on SF4 using the touch screen [grrrr, noisy hipsters] whilst I tried to enjoy my overpriced nikuman [£1.80 for one in London, used to get 4 for the equivalent in Yen in good ol' Seicomart or Family Mart) , I'll pass on buying one till the version 2 comes out as there are at least a years worth of games on the DS I want to play through first, the 3DS does look good, but with the black screens, dodgy hinges, and all, I can wait.

Those are isolated issue. I have not, nor have any of my friends recieved a black screen (Which, by the way, is a simple crash and is fixed upon reset.) My hinge is perfect too.

Also yes. Weeaboo hipster n00bs are annoying.

I've managed to get 3 passes from my high school alone.

2 of them come from the same guy, who's a good friend of mine. The third is some random guy that I don't know.

I got nobody, and I work in a shopping mall connected to a college full of rich kids. I'm pissed, rofl.
rich kids dont play games. they do stupid rich kid stuff
lol.

day 3 and still no luck~

In London? Tried going past/in the sausage fest that is the Casino Arcade (Electrocoins test-site) on TCR? Or Cyber Candy or Forbidden Planet...that Manga Cafe or that funky lil' cheap Korean dive near Centre Point with all the kerazzy graff on the walls? They would be the usual suspects for good hits..
lol, might have to start going around that side of London again, haven't been to those places in time. xD
I spend most of my time around Camden Town, West End, Hampstead :3
was at Trocadero for quite some time, no hits~

I think i'm just getting really unlucky :/
