Since I am new to this whole streetpass thing, this is what I did, took my 3DS outside for the first time today for a nice long walk..walked 1457 steps, collected 10 coins which is cool..but no Mii's..geez I live in a dull neighborhood LOL..so all I have to do to get Mii's from other people is just to have the WiFi on right and if someone has theirs on I can get it.?

so far 33 street passes total, my mii plaza is happy and this is only 2 days out with my 3ds in my pocket...stupid ghosts in find mii are still annoying even with all the streetpassed help.

Pretty sure the green light blinking just means that you have streepass/wireless on.

I finally got a hit today!
Driving around the Inner West in Sydney. Some dude called Felix, last played game was Face Raiders.
Sadly he didn't have a new puzzle piece for me

This was the first time I've seen the green light come on so I'm sure it's more than just having streetpass active.

They only give you puzzle pieces if they bother with buying some to begin with. I can't imagine anyone buying puzzle pieces at this point when the coins are better invested into hiring cats/dogs in Find Mii.
And for the Find Mii game: When you open the Mii Plaza and close it without using the Miis you found they'll be lost. So keep the Mii Plaza closed until you really want to play a game in there or you'll waste them.

@topic: Despite going into town placing myself right next to the 3DS game shelves in stores I didn't get any StreetPass hits so far other than my one friend who has a 3DS. Kinda disappointing since I moved into a neighborhood with a crapton of kids around and had expected to get at least one or two hits. The street I'm in also has a lot of kids walking by on their way home from school, but still nothing

I got 2 people on the way to and from work in Frankfurt, taking the subway.

But I have no idea who it is because I only checked in the evening.

But the following days there was nothing. Although I had Pilotwings running when I put it in standby. I'm not sure if Streetpass is on while a game is running.

I'm sure it does for 3DS games.
It doesn't for DS/DSi games though, only counts your steps for 7 days.

None at all yet. Had the 3DS for 2 days, walked about 9000 steps through the town centre going to work, even past Game and Gamestation and got no-one

On topic, does anyone know how many times it takes to get through one area in the rpg?

Here's my crew - Got about 10 of them at a streetpass meet event in London, one near kings cross, one in Camden Market, one in a GAME store in Newcastle and a girl just now on the Newcastle Metro system.

Yes they're visible in the plaza. But you can't use them for Find Mii - they're lost to the game once you close Mii Plaza.
