    (What a surprise, eh?)

"The upcoming issue of Famitsu magazine details the DLC for multi-platform title Street Fighter IV. So, which SFIV DLC is more expensive: Xbox 360 DLC or PS3 DLC? (Hint: read the post's title.)

According to Famitsu, the game's various costume DLC packs (pictured below) break down as such:"

Wow. I'm surprised (though i REALLY shouldn't be) that DLC is announced prior to a games release.

And on that note: Shit, now i'll hafta drop an extra $15 bucks on TOP of the $60 for the game [IMG]

(because, yes, i want ALL that stuff [IMG])

I miss the time when you had to unlock the extra clothes by playing the game instead of buying them :/

Lol yeah I was thinking the exact same thing, anything to make an extra buck these days.

I wouldnt be surprised if they started charging for unlockable characters next.

    How lame [IMG]

As annoyed as I am that they actually made the alternate costumes DLC I'm probably going to end up buying the Shadowloo Pack for Balrog's alt. [IMG] If I'm going to be staring at the boxer for countless hours I want him lookin' fancy atleast.

@War: Sakura's alt is a parody of one of the SNK female fighters, she's not in Ryu's outfit.

Well, the game is gonna be successful no matter what so there is no deniying that Capcom want's to makes as much money as possible, still I'm pretty sure that this is not going to be the only packs available, I mean there could be new ones down the line.

Funny thing is the fact that I'm sure it was cheaper to make Street Fighter IV than Super Street Fighter II HS Remix.

Oh so they are adding the tournament mode from HD Remix. That was my favorite mode in HDR and I played it so much. Glad to hear it's back. [IMG]

Still waiting for that Wii port.....
    any minute now....
    any minute......

    damn it.

Ya, the whole point of DLC is to upgrade and add things to the game, not just charge for locked content.
DLC has become a one time extra cash in and nothing else.
Its supposed to give a game future possibilities.

Instead of getting a warning on games about them causing children to kill wich it obviously doesn't.
We should have a sticker on the game's shrink wrap stating, "This game is incomplete and will cost an additional 15 bucks to complete the package because we hate you and love you're money."

Still though, the costumes look nice I guess...
Eh, no, costumes are rather pointless and just for simple looks. They should cost more than a dollar per pack if anything in my view.
Then keep adding more in the future for special events or random junk.
Then again, what dev would want to keep adding content to a "finished" product?
