yes it would be nice to see a Street Fighter game on the DS the only Street Fighter game worth playing on DS is the SNK vs Capcom game for Neo Geo...

It looks very awesome. But whether it'll ever be playable is another thing.

Programming homebrew apps doesn't require knowledge of Photoshop, you know

He probably doesn't have any artists helping him out, so he can only use what he has [and that's shitty-looking images] :/
I really kinda doubt this'll ever be completed, though. SF3 was some SERIOUS stuff - a lot of animation frames, complicated mechanics, A LOT of hitboxes - it'll take at least 6 years of extreme dedication [like Bob's "dedication" to Bob's Game kind of dedication - no job, not leaving the computer for more than 10 minutes] for just the characters to be 100% completed by one person >__>

A system with such a big install-base like the Wii and the DS still with no Street Fighter... And I think this will not ease my hunger for a proper DS-Street Fighter. I`ll stick to SFII for GBA but it is still unbelivable for me, that Capcom hasn`t made a SF game for DS [IMG]

I don't really like Street Fighter, partly since I'm a noob at it. When someone talks to me about Street Fighter the first thing that comes to my mind is "Oh you mean that button spamming game?".
Anyway I'll still try this out, since I like fighting games.

There is no point in releasing anything "preview" like if there isn't even anything done yet. What good are menu screens? Seriously.

    Waste of time...

Street Fighter II Turbo has always done well on SNEmulDS for me...

EDIT: Trying the neo emulator after this, I have to say it's preatty impressive. I also have to say sf2t is still where it's at for me...

Actually, this could be done fairly easy.
Make an engine that can use the already made MUGEN character files and your done.
I'm pretty sure someone ported over the SF3 chars to MUGEN though with many frames taken out.
Still, a decent fighting game on the DS would be nice.
Its a mystery as to why Capcom won't make a fighter for teh DS.
You'd think they'd try and make some sorta Chibi SF2 remake or maybe a sequel to gem fighters.
Esspecially since they made decent sales on the GBA with their ports.
Though I think Capcom may have had a contract with sony to port some street fighter games to the PSP only during it's launch. Though I dunno if thats true or not, but it might explain a bit.

I hope this Homebrew turns out well, it would be nice to see it finished.
