Hello, I was wondering if there is any type of application out there that would allow me to stream DPG videos from my computer. I use my DS pretty much for videos and I usually never leave the house. I've heard of programs similar to this that allow the user to download files from his or her computer onto the DS. A program that would allow me to download files over WiFi onto my DS would also be extremely handy because then I could download a video for my session and then delete it with DSOrganize. Is there any applications that would allow me to do any of this and how long would it take to download a 50mb file?

    You'd use DSFTP (http://giesler.biz/bjoern/en/sw_dsftp.html).

I used to use my DSLite for lots of tv shows I downloaded and have always wanted a feature like this. Now I use my psp =D.

I was going to purchase the gp2x because its video playing capabilities but like my ds, I'd use the portable for games also (as in commercial games).

I was over on another forum, someone there said that using DSOrganize to delete large files repetitively can harm your flashcart. Is this true? Thanks again!

Each sector does have a limited number of writes (many tens of thousands) but that usually becomes apparent on save games and other small files or highly fragmented files (if they are written often even better) more.
