Lol Wood r4 is just a Acekard RPG firmware (AKMENU) with some new options
Akaio is something different and also have some options that Wood r4 doesn't have like 'Anti AP' function
and also the build quality of the Acekard isn't that bad you will not break it if you take care of it [IMG]

I actually did compare them. In fact there really isn't a big difference between them. It's more like Wood is a simplified version of AKAIO.

Okay well Both AKAIO And Wood Are Great. But DSTT'S Kernel Even with Retrogamefan & From Before Pong's Updates, Its still the worst kernel out of all the main Non-Clone Flashcarts (Even Though IIRC Dstt was a r4 clone)

EDIT: I know that little passage was all over the place but thats not the point. XD

Supposedly it was made by the orginal R4 team, like the iEdge is supposedly made by Team Cyclops. Regardless, in my experience the DSTT kernel with RetroGameFan's updates made it head over heels better compatibility than most if not all cards that were out for that price. Excluding the one that runs wood, naturally.

Really? Things must of changed from when i had my DSTTi Because When i had my DSTTi I couldn't run half of the games i tried even with RetroGameFan's Kernel Updates.

I had the regular DSTT but from what I was told it runs the same kernel. I was able to run GS:DD before any of my friends. [IMG]

Every other topic in the known universe is more interesting than that.

But that's what this thread is for.
People still use the DSTT and DSTTi, so I'd appreciate a return to that topic.
For talking about other things we have a plethora of other subforums and threads.
