Hacking Still on the fence about upgrading the firmware on my launch PS4...

Hi guys!

I have a launch PS4 (if I'm not mistaken, the firmware is 1.01) bought for the sole intent of jailbreaking it when the time is right.
Is that time now or should I wait?

I have a second PS4, or rather my main PS4, that I use daily and is updated to the latest firmware.
Full disclosure, I have no problem with waiting and piracy is not what drives me (not ATM at least). My backlog of bought PS4 games is huge, and upgrading this PS4 to 4.05 or 4.55 just to play pirated games is not worth it.

(To be honest, I guess I'm answering my own question, but I would like someone else's opinion since I am not at all invested in what's happening on the PS4 scene.)

I think you answered your own question indeed.

You could always sell it on to someone who does want HEN.

I still got a sealed launch unit as well. Just in case a really good hack become available at some point. I just ended up buying a Pro on 4.55 once HEN dropped. So that kind of solved it for me. Still gonna sit on it and use the Pro.
