Hacking Still no Super Mario RPG Wad???

I see a lot of attention has grown since last night... I COULD make it PAL, but it'll have to be entirely japanese. I'll just need a bit of time and a PAL tester

(BTW skawo96, if you were wondering why you do not see any words on the banner of the channel, it's because your wii does not have the proper fonts to load the text

I can be a PAL tester....bah I have two Wiis Just it won't brick my Wii completely...just a little banner brick/something like that no?

Yes, I noticed that. And of course, I was pretty sure about that not display thing...

I even tried removing the protections from the rom (ntsc/pal, slowrom fix, etc) with no success.

thats not the problem, the japanese version is a bit different with the saving menu for example.
The English rom will boot but will stays blackscreen before the title screen appears.
strange is that the VC rom contains PCM files but when i inject mario rpg japanese it will play with out any problems.

is there a english translation of the JPN version of the game? i would say no but if there is would could inject that.

Yes there is, and we have tried it... Didn't work for us.

. What you could do while you wait for the PAL wad is install the regionfree systemmenu hack by crediar. That way the JPN wad will be playable. Just a though

i dont think there is a jap >> english translation since there was never a need for.
all the translations based upon the US version
i thibnk somebody with some SNES hacking skilz can make the US version playable.
This must be only a small thing. i guess saving or so

I knew about that, if you read some post ago I said I tried it. Strange thing it completely unconnects Wiimote.

try booting through the homebrew app WiiMU. it will load out of region game that are not region free. its worth a try!
