from a dos prompt try a chkdsk letterofyourdrive: /F or chkdsk letterofyour drive: /R

ex : chkdsk g: /R assuming g: is the cardreader unit.

i find it hard to belive you don't have 10 or 20 free megs on your hdd to back up save files/settings inis/ and the like. anyways i'm not posting to be a jerk towards your backup habbits, just wanted to say that this sounds more like a problem with your msd and not the app. depending on how old it is, how much you use it, how often you write to it, it just might be in the last days. especially if you have corrupted data before. are you running the most resent build of stillaliveds? i've been using it on my rpg for a while now, download maps, beat the game twice with no problems. also you can grab the maps from the homepagee and manually put them on the msd.

    goodluck,

"Insufficient disk space to recover lost data."

thats the problem. you don't have the room on the msd to have windows restore the pointers to the missing files. you could run a back up utility on it to recover lost/delete data and save it on your computer hdd, but that seems over kill for a msd and some roms/homebrew/save files. i would just format the kit. you know if you keep your ds you can pick up a 2gb thumb drive for under 10 bucks now. might not be a bad idea just to use for your quick backups.

msd is short for MicroSD, though its usually called either a TF or MicroSD card.

If seeing as others haven't had similar problems i'll assume for now that its your microsd card that is screwing up. Try formatting it in a camera (I've found that i could revive one of my broken microsd cards by formatting it in a camera).

send it back for a replacement. stop assuming its the kit/AKAIO/or stillaliveds. the longer you wait the harder it might be to get a replacement.
