Steve Bristow, an Atari engineer, has died past Sunday, aged 65. Bristow was the mind behind Atari's groundbreaking hit Tank and the Indy 800 arcade machine, he was also one of the engineers who designed the VCS, later known as the Atari 2600. Steve was one of those people who made our everyday hobby a reality, he will be missed.

How did he die? At 65 I would've thought he had a little longer.

RIP, my friend. Thank you for your contribution to our lives.

Think he ever believed the work he was doing on "games" would make such an impact on so many people? Something to ponder in our own lives.

I'll be honest, I didn't know the man or his name, but who doesn't know the 2600?

Thanks for everything, and rest in peace.
