I was about to comment on your DS version of Bubble Universe (which is also really nice, btw), until I saw this 3DS version. Complete with stereoscopic 3D! Plus you made this thread on my birthday.

I love stuff like this. This is beautiful! I can watch and explore this for ages. Zoom in and out, control speed, tweak all kinds of stuff. Fast movement, slow movement. Bonus for allowing adjustment to that 3D offset.

For anyone else reading and trying for themselves, be careful with that particular setting. Go slow. Getting close to the 40s and 50s can be, uh, unsettling? Like the visual equivalent of having your speakers play audio out of phase.

Also, did anyone else notice the 3DS HBL has a subtle stereoscopic 3D effect? I never did until today. You may have to turn the slider all the way up to notice. I never launched it with the 3D on before.

Thank you for your kind words. I'm so happy when other people get enjoyment out of the things I write. Still working on my next 3DS project, but I hope to be finished fairly soon.

Definitely a cool experience to have on my beloved 3ds, will try while on an altered state hehe. That said, my feedback is I had the idea of it being an "infinite zoom" thing, you know, like going in "smaller" orders of magnitude within, all populated with particles - I understand how that may be quite a harder task though. Also liked how trails keep their stereoscopic position despite moving the 3d slider post-activating them. I may have other ideas, lmk if you'd like to hear those. Cool stuff! Many thanks for sharing :) :nds:

Wow, you've discovered a feature I didn't even know existed! :) I'd never thought of changing the slider in trail mode. Nice!

I'd love to hear your ideas. Can't promise I'll do any more work on it, but it's always cool to hear people's thoughts.

Programmer-speak for "haha, that's a stupid glitch I didn't know about but I like it so it's a feature now!"
