Considering Stein's Gate Elite is on PC in multiple languages, is there any chance of getting a translation patch working on Switch?

If you're asking if there's a one click way to copy and replace the text, I kind of doubt it. Gotta go and manually replace all the dialogue. And considering it's a VN, there'll be an insane amount of work to do. Probably faster to wait for official English release for a 100% translation.
