I am definitely going to play this, it looks like it will be epic and not a cash grab game.

Well, while I do sail the seven seas on my Vita, I think I'm getting off the ship just for this game!

Well a recent PQube game "Root letter" is 3.61... so I can only assume S;G0 will be the same :P

I never understood what people fascinates about this Steins;Gate thing. But I think the problem is that I only played bad Visual Novels(NGE Girlfriend of Steel 1&2 fan translation, which are very predictable: hm should Shinji go into the lift with Rei, Asuka or Kaworu, what happends next?)

Steins;Gate isn't a harem visual novel... it's only kind of one. Describing how spoils the plot, but basically the vast majority of the time you're not dealing with different girl routes. It's one solid story (for the vast majority of the time). If it helps you decide to try Steins;Gate out, just know that the visual novels you referenced have vndb ratings of 6.1 and 5.73 while Steins;Gate has 9.1.

It actually looks pretty entertaining, especially the story itself sounds(atleast from what I've read about it) really interesting.

Well, you have a month before its sequel releases. Go read it, fall in love, then buy Steins;Gate 0 Day 1 like the rest of us.

I must be missing something with Steins;gate, I am like 8 hours in and I am still not "getting it" Without spoilers, can anyone tell me which chapter it really picks up?

You're not necessarily "not getting it." It could just not be for you. For example, I fell in love from the very beginning. Plenty of mystery and intrigue from very early on. If you're 8 hours in and are "not getting it," it's rather likely that the visual novel just isn't up your alley. Of course, that all depends on what "getting it" would even entail. What exactly is "it" and how is Steins;Gate lacking in "it?"
