Nintendo may be gearing up for a big launch day tomorrow for it’s new console, the Nintendo 3DS, in Australia but it isn’t out of announcements just yet. Steel Diver, the submarine simulator that launched alongside the console in the US earlier this week has been given an Australian release date.

Aussie’s will have to wait until May 12 to get their hands on the game. Nintendo did not mention a reason for the wait time, but did post a little information on it’s website about the game in general. For those who have not kept up to date on the title.

I dont think many people will get Steel Diver.

what possible reason do they have to delay it? (unless it was so buggy on us release that it wasn't worth releasing it in other regions before they had a chance to fix it)

It's not out here in the UK either. As far as I know Australian units get the same region of games as the UK.

if there was a flashcart, i would have definitely gotten this but it seems tht money is always an issue and hence i dont have a 3DS.
since AUS is pal (correct me) and EU too, wouldnt importing it from europe be equal to buy it locally in aus?

Australia indeed has PAL Nintendo 3DS systems. Else my PAL Streetfighter 3D would'nt say it's only for PAL and Australian systems.
