Weren't there Daily Deals before? I remember one called EA week. Every day there'd be a discount in a EA game.
they've always had weekend deals, and the occasional special deals like the EA one you mentioned
Steam wants to see me on the streets begging for change, it seems.
Yeah, I could have sworn that they were having "Daily Deals" before too.
Maybe they weren't calling them that, but they did seem to have changing discounts on games daily.
Oh gawd. Bye bye, money
I hope we'll have awesome offers like during the last deals season
OH MY WALLET!
and now I have to check Steam every single day
god dammit Gaben
y u do dis ;_;
steam has 'daily deals' pretty much every day... last week they had ea games discounted every day, they have deals every weekend.
Then there's their 'special offers' always scrolling across the homepage.
Not to mention that fact that nearly every game has at least 10% off anyway.
One EA week =/= daily deals.
they didn't really have a structure in the deals even though almost everyday there where at least some games with at least 50% off
They do have a structure. They have midweek sales that go on from Tuesday until Thursday and another game on sale on the weekend from Friday up until Monday. The deal is usually limited to one game only and/or weekend deals.
Daily deals is different as there is a new sale every day with different games.
