It seems to me like Nintendo is doing more to rush it out the door since it's releasing in Japan in the next couple of months but won't be out here for ages. I don't see how they could not have had time to implement online play, nor should they see the failings of the game not having online play of any kind from a sales perspective.

Nah, I doubt it. Likely, it's seen done for a while, or at least they've been far into development. They don't really have a need to rush it out of the door.

Pretty stupid move. Having an option for online play is better than having none at all. Online gaming is kind of a standard nowadays (not like I care anyway, I don't play online much), and by removing that it's definitely going to turn some people away from the game.

No online multiplayer? Damn. I had so much fun with StarFox DS playing online, wonder why they left it out
