Hacking stand by mode killing battery again?

before flashing my DS nite, going stand by mode was also as if i just left the system on
the battery basically die if i left it on stand by over night

then I flashed it, battery life on stand by seems a whole lot longer
but recently, stand by mode is killing my battery again... It was still green when I went satnd by and the battery is dead when I wake up in the morning

anyone else have this problem?
could be it the fireware or is there something I shouldnt be doing?

is there a game in the ds slot?i know if i dont have a game in the ds slot it will flash sleep...and awake over and over...

but when i put a game in there it sleeps like a drunken baby..

ya, i have a game in the ds slot

1) GBA games do not go to sleep when you close your DS(L).

2) Wireless activity (ie "bark mode" and such) is a significant draw on your battery.

3) Anytime you are not going to be using your DS for long periods of time that you are near an outlet, like while you sleep, is a good time to charge the battery by pluging it in.
