As you all know these project started earlier this year and have been one of the most popular homebrew games out right now. So now they have decided to to combine there sorce codes to make one big SSB for the DS. Brawl96 of TeamRumble said that they will now have the skill to program wifi a full fat system and a story Mode. Brawl96 also said demo 5 will be out within the next month with almost 20 characters. This will be great for the game as Gemisis is very dedicated to making his SSBDS and so He will do great at coding this combo game with help of Brawl96 and other codes of TeamRumble.

not to be a downer, but i hope they clean up the character sprites a bit
they should work on the simple things first before going all out

Considering Fuzzy has been quitting,joining quitting again,Brawl96 quit as a coder and the GEMISIS demo sucked bawls,I doubt much is gonna happen with this.

As much as I would hate for these homebrew guys to get a C&D, I think it would eventually lead to Nintendo releasing an official SSBDS. If only JUS would get Americanized, sigh.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better. -

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
