    Hi Guys,

This issue is infuriating. I've tried all the methods listed on this forum to get a US iso to work on a PAL Wiikey but to no avail. I tried latest Wiibrickblocker, trucha signer, video changer and 001 error remover on top of using RegionFrii. I've also tried using all sorts of different video resolutions. Tried different DL DVD's (am using verbatim's atm) so i think I've tried pretty much tried all the things on these boards.

What happens is the disc is recognized in the wii menu and the logo is on the screen, i hit start to load the game and then nothing. My controller goes dead and can't sync with the wii and the wii cannot reset or power off. It can however eject the disc.

My wiikey is 1.9g and the wii is 3.2e.

Can anyone help with this problem? I've burnt about 10 DL disc now and its getting to the point where I may aswell just buy it.

Try it with freeloader and a "clean" copy of SSSB.

    Insert freeloader.
    press eject
    insert freeloader again
    press eject
insert your ssbb copy (not modified in any way)
    do the upgrade

    now play

Worked for me this way (wiikey 1.9g/wii 3.2e)

    THIS WORKS

    - in your wii settings, set the TV type to 50hz.
    - Start the game.
    - Then go into the SSBB options and set deflicker to off.
    - Then go back to wii menu.
    - Change the TV type back to 60hz.
    - Boot SSBB - THE SCREEN WILL BE BLACK FOR ABOUT 20 SECS, WAIT!
    - then the game boots fine with no issues.

^ did you wait like 20 seconds with a blank (often blue) screen after you launch it from the Wii game channel?

So why do some people have this problem with SSBM? I have a PAL Wii with Wiikey 1.9b and am using a Component cable and dont have a problem with running the game with the TV settings set top 480p, so how come some people do? But i do have a problem with No More Hereos, with this game i have to change the TV settings in the Wii menu to 480i, otherwise i get a 'No Signal' Message on my TV screen?
