I've recently burned SSBB to a Traxdata DVD-R DL DVD on 1x speed, and it all works fine, everything works fine except when i reach around 58% on Subspace Emissary and i finish that level, the game just freezes and says "Game disc could not be read". I've tried to burn 2 copies, one with 2.4x and one with 1x. The one that was burned with 1x lasted much longer than the one burned with 2.4x, and on both i were using the Wiierd's release.

I did not use any layer breaks while burning.

Any idea to what has happened? And how i can solve it?

Try burning it again at different speed, since it could be a bad burn. Had the same problem with Okami (and SSBB when it was released in US) a while ago. Burnt the game again and et voila: It works till this day :q

Throw it away, delete your .iso.

    Buy/download Super Smash Bros. Melee.

    (Burn)Insert into Wii.

    Have 10X more fun.
