Hacking SSB, MH Series can't RUN! in O3DS after change region from JAP to USA

Can somebody explain what happen..??

I follow all tutorial...
on plaitect Guide..
and yes i'm using A9LH

no missing title or anything..
everything is good

except this one big problem..
i cant run those game's...

Funny that I have the exact same problem.

And multi language games still shows japanese (tried BD).

Deleted extra title and installed missing title.

May I ask why you guys are region changing? Assuming your on Luma3DS, just use the title region emulation. Details on it can be found here: https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Options-and-usage

As for not being able to run those games. Are you getting a black screen only? Sounds like the issue listed here and explains how to fix it: https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/FAQ-and-Troubleshooting

Maybe they want to download updates directly from the JP eShop for Japanese games, or actually buy the games from the eShop. Who knows.

Pretty sure Plailect's guide on Region Changing mentions that it doesn't make the eshop work though...

Changing Region on N3DS is Perfect eShop Working..

But you have an o3DS.... The reason some have gotten to work on N3DS is probably because of this guide:

And it's a pretty advance guide that shouldn't even be attempted unless you know what you are doing...

noo.. i'm just doind the same thing as o3ds.. but n3ds got perfect change region no bug on 3D or something ... eShop work... and everything good to go..

but for O3DS i dont know why... it's gut bug.. like hang after clos notification, eshop not work, cannot run SSB, MH series...

Plailect already said, that region changing is unstable, experimental and can break several things.... Plailect guide also states that eshop will not work following the method outlined in the guide.

Stop bringing up the N3DS, the method for that is completely different and would not work on an o3DS system, and the method used to get eshop working on N3DS isn't even outlined or explained in the guide.

Again, I don't see why you need region changing, just use region emulation, and for updates just use cias of said updates.

What fixed my issue:
- Check your missing title and extra title with downgrade checker
- Delete what extras and install what missings
- Legit system format (from system setting)
- Install the game

Like both of you, i'm thinking of changing my JP N3DS (A9LH - Luma3DS - 10.7J sysNand) region to EUR to be able to play region blocked cartridges i own online (MH4U, SSB and MHGen when it comes out).


Do you confirm i have no other way but to change region in order to be able to play these games online ?
Do you confirm i don't risk a ban if i go online ?

For updates for your carts, just download the updates in .cia and install them manually.

Still don't see any reason for region changing when it's buggy....
