The PC scene has become more and more vibrant over the years, and even Japan, where PC is a relatively unpopular platform, has begun to take notice. From making PC the lead platform for Dark Souls 2 to the recent ports of titles like Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Japanese devs are submitting to the whims of the master race opening up to new possibilites. As it turns out, Square Enix may not be far behind. Eurogamer That's right. We might be going from Phoenix Downs to Phoenix Downloads! ... Anyway, Square Enix has already made some moves on this front. They've recently provided PC ports of Final Fantasy VII and VIII, though these ports have not been without their fair share of bugbears. If Square Enix decides to move forward with this idea, let's hope they've learned a thing or twenty. Looks like PC gamers' final fantasy may become, finally, reality.
