Two of the PlayStation 1's biggest icons will join together, in an upcoming event at the end of this month. On August 30th, Spyro the Dragon will playable in Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, as part of a new Grand Prix season. Three characters from the Spyro franchise will join the CTR remaster's roster: Spyro himself, Hunter, and Gnasty Gnorc, fully kitted out in their own karts, as well. A new racetrack will also be added--Spyro Circuit--which will feature setpieces from the series, and will see the traditional Wumpa Fruit replaced by gems, and Aku Aku invincibility masks instead be Spyro's companion Sparx. The Spyro & Friends Grand Prix will be free downloadable content for those that own the game.

I really hope that these characters aren't as grindy as some of the stuff was in the last Grand Prix. Hopefully they listened to all the "feedback" (read: criticism). But then again, it's Activision, so I'm not holding my breath...

Well, I came prepared, lol, been grinding wumpa coins, got like 20.000 something, so Activision can show their microtransactions up their ass-

Okay it turns to be four games. But Nitro Kart is... kinda forgetable. Tag Team Racing was actually more fun for some reason, even if terrible storywise, I did like the fusion mechanic.
