If it breaks does the card have to be scrapped or can you just put the SD card in without the spring working? I just ordered an R4 and if the spring goes I'm hoping it is a simple fix.

You can open up the card and remove the spring or bend it to the side.

my spring kinda stopped working, and i was able to just manually slide the sd card out. Then it kinda fixed itself, so its all good!

If the spring breaks all you need to remove it is a small screwdriver and some tweezers. It's pretty simple.

If you just bought it, go get a new one [IMG] I did, and it works now. I wonder for how long...

One thing I do want to know is that for everyone who had a spring problem, how long did it work for before it became a problem?

Mines has mood swings, Its like 2 weeks old.

Sometimes It works find some times I have to press it in abunch before it locks down.. hasn't become much of a problem yet, when It does I'll just remove the spring.

It's quite easy to pull the spring out, so don't worry about it. And the spring on my R4 broke on the first day. My second R4 has been working for several months without a problem though.

Umm the question should be, HOW MANY TIMES DID YOU *REMOVE* THE M-SD CARD BEFORE THE SPRING BROKE.

If someone ejects it 10 times a day, for 4 weeks, it's going to be differrent than if someone has ejected it 10 times in 4 weeks, and broke it.

On average I say I eject it about 5 times a day. 7 months and still working fine.

    Over there.
Mine broke after like, 2 weeks. Didn't remove spring yet, just too lazy. [IMG] Although I think that the actual lock broke. When I insert the card, it just launches out like 5 metres. So I have to tape it, and have to untape and tape again when I wanna put some new stuff on...
