With the MLB playoffs starting soon, and my Cubs in contention, I'm considering doing some online gambling. I'm curious though if someone could recommend to me a reputable site they've used. Ideally as simple as possible in terms of depositing and withdrawing money. Thanks.

I'm not sure if the mods allow this but it depends. Also sometimes it depends where you live due to state laws

Functionally I am not seeing much difference between this sort of thread and another asking "please link me to a decent FTP client" so it is fine to ask.

That said the US does seem to have a bug up its arse about off track and online gambling, and accordingly it can be harder to find one from what I have seen. To that end I have no suggestions.

    Away from this shithole
I have no idea because my country blocks every gambling website that's not italian. I'm also not going to advertise gambling on here, so I'd say look for something like "best MLB gambling usa sites" on Google, click the first result and check out the website on top of the top 10 :P

New York. And while its obviously easy to google for gambling sites I'd feel at ease putting money into a site other users here have had good experiences with.

    I forgot
Oddly enough, a Fantasy Sports site I manage at work has a few affiliations with some online sports betting sites, and to be quite honest most of them are pretty shit, and almost all of them look pretty shifty. Even sites we know to be legit and that look legit enough have tons of issues, either with slow payments or shifty bets from certain players etc.

One such one that we've had the least complaints about has been Bovada, but I dunno if they'll accept New York registrations, we affiliate with a lot of sites that refuse registrations from New York, New Jersey, and Delaware and IIRC Bovada is one of them. There's also Sportsbetting.AG or BetOnline.ag as well, but again I'm not sure if they'll take New York registrations.

That's what I found very odd when I travelled to America and Canada. Betting on sports is so hard to do.

In Australia you can walk into nearly any pub and you have a licensed betting facility. Odds are the same country wide. And you can bet on almost anything sports related.

I guess it's because in America we make it harder due to fear of bad influence even when there is none.

Where I live there are a whole lot of gas station casinos and what not.
