"An adventure 65 million years in the making" was the tagline for the first Jurassic Park movie, and it might as well be the description for the development process of Jurassic Park 4.

Rumors of a fourth dinosaur sequel have been circulating since Jurassic Park III's release. At Comic-Con, Steven Spielberg confirmed that JP4 is happening, and that they have a story in place.

"We have a story," Spielberg said. "A writer is currently working on the treatment for [that story]...and the hope is to see Jurassic Park 4 in the next 2 or 3 years."

Spielberg did not share who the writer is or what the story is about, nor did we expect him to. What we do know is that this film will be the start of a new trilogy, one that is influenced by the history of the previous films, especially the first two.

So hold on to your butts, and expect more dinosaurs on the big screen sometime in either 2013 or 2014.[/p]

Finally it has been confirmed!! Can't wait for JP, since Spielberg is helming it, that guy can surely deliver a gem of a movie!

In other news, Ghost Rider 2: Spirit Of Vengeance has been confirmed too, Cage will reprise his role, movie is slated for a February 17th 2012 release.

    Entertainment Value - fine.

Surviving a nuke blast in a fridge - very uncool.

Even Bethesda made fun of it in Fallout: New Vegas. C'mon, it did cross the line.

To those of us 8 or more years older than you it was a truly game changing film. Try watching it again and think about what the best that could have being done before it was like. I also think it's really surprising how well the CGI has aged in it too.

Wow another shitty CG movie. I bet it'll even suck in 3D.

There are a lot of movies I'm excited about more than this. Most of them are mildly obscure. (I'm especially waiting for David Fincher's adaptation of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar)

This still looks interesting though, may watch it. Spielberg rarely fails to deliver when he's helmed.
