Gaming Special Mii via Streetpass via Homepass question

After receiving this:

As you can see It's through Streetpass
Is it possible to receive special mii through streetpass now?
It never happened before. what's on your guys mind now?
i have to note i got it via Spillpasspi.

Must be because of Streetpass Week I guess.

You can give your personal Mii golden pants, and it will indeed show up as Special on others' systems. I did the same thing to my Mii at a convention in January.
