Homebrew spare 3DS on 9.3 What can be done?

i know thers no CIA methods on 9.3 so i'm not askin about it, but bein on 9.3 i'm guessing same entrypoints as 9.9/10.1 users (browserhax/themehax/ironhax/etc) or is there something else that can be done w/ it? the 3DS (o3DS) hasnt been on wifi or used in almost 7 months.

You can use BrowserHax on 9.3 to get *hax 2.5.
If you want to play "backups", Sky3DS is your only option right now. In any case, DON'T UPDATE, if a kexploit is found soon, it will be on your version for certain.

You could try following this tutorial to see if you can install browserhax on the system, then use it to install an offline exploit like Ironhax.

That's pretty much the best you can get as far as I know.

He won't get the update message, since it was only implemented in 9.9, and he doesn't have Ironfall installed, as it requires 9.5+.

You should be able to safely use browserhax to load the homebrew launcher then install themehax if you want. Just to to extra safe I would use a dns that blocks the nintindo servers.

Derp. That's right. Thank you for pointing that out.

In which case you can just use Browserhax normally without having to screw with the DNS at all and install themehax if you want. Afterwards, I'd recommend just staying on 9.3. Chances are an exploit might be found sooner or later, and *hax 2.5 gives you a lot of the things an updated 3DS can do.

Also to add to my previous post if you are reciving a updatenag to update your firmware just enter recovery mode and very inportantly hit cancel to remove it. The nag should come back if it is connected to the internet and is in sleep mode so I sugest to use a dns that blocks Nintendo servers.

Don't update at all, use browserhax and then install themhax or otherhax just incase. I am on 9.4 N3ds and people said "update for inronhax" and I didn't, I wait. Best decition ever. You now have the firmware spoofer and can buy games on eshop or retail and use them.

The problem with being on and old version is that you cant download eshop games with 9.6 crypto.

That sucks i though hans let you run game with that requirement I donwloaded dragon ball demo and it worked, never tried other wich are the demos with 9.6 crypto?
PD: But since i have an old 3ds on 9.2 I don't mind waiting.Yes I believe in an 9.2+ exploit.

I don't know what demos do but i do know that happy home designer and tri force heros are games that have

Bummer if you want to play those games, gladly there aren't much of those now, so in the end it comes on what you need, I am happy with being able to download the updates for my retail games (pokemon). Also since hans is relative new it might have updates in the future.
