In a press release today, Namco Bandai announced an update for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of SoulCalibur V. The update, which is due out on March 21, will include "new online ranked game search optimization, gameplay tweaks and character balance adjustments for the entire roster based on player feedback."

The press release also mentions the SoulCalibur V Worldwide Finals tournament to be held at the Cosmopolitan casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Winner of the event will take home a cash price of $10,000.

So, can they fix that godawful story mode? And add (at the very least) endings and some sort of story progression to the arcade mode?

I'm hoping these tweaks mean Viola's crit edge will be made to not suck supreme shit. Nice to see they're willing to fix the issues, that's VERY un-Bamco like of them.
SCV is a solid game though, if you don't count the shit story mode. But it's a fighting game...story modes are just filler.
