I'm going to pull a hadrian and say
The release date may just be the day it gets sent to shops, not the actual day shops start selling it.

and dumps appear when dumps appear. ¬.¬

Dump should be out tonight or tomorrow, if you follow the typical fashion of releasing games and dumping it. [IMG]

In the UK the date is usually the day its sold. I got an email from play.com yesterday saying that its on its way to me, so I'm staying in waiting for the postie.

They usually arrive here between 11am to 3pm...and I don't wear underwear.

    Curses!

I imagined what wilddenim thought, you, sitting with a laptop just staring at the letter box waiting for a package to fall through.

Most UK independant game retailers get them a few days early.
I remember once that HMV had Suikoden 2 for the PS1 a day before release date.

They refused to sell it... Hate that policy [IMG]

Ended up travelling from West London to Golders Green and got it there. Was well worth it [IMG]

    Phew! Thank godness. [IMG]

Posted arrived yet? [IMG] I just want to know if it's worth it! [IMG]

Really, Fission? I haven't noticed. I don't buy lots of games, despite having lots of 2nd hand GBA games. Well, they were a third of the RRP price!

I have it. Its great, very laid back but not really that challenging to be honest but I'm really glad I bought it as I've been looking for a new game that I can just play and chill out with.

Music is very ambient, there is singing but it fades in and out, drums get under your skin, I fount myself tapping to them.

Graphically, better on the DS! Very distinctive, well detailed I really can't flaw them. I love the way the bubbles react to the scenery and obstacles. Each world has its own look and feel and theme each add something to the gameplay to make it feel very varied.

I really liked having different masks to make different bubbles. The controls are so damn responsive, they are exactly how you want them to be.

Played 3 worlds so far, and loved every minute but don't play this thinking its gonna challenge the mind, play it for what it is, a very well made game. Some will complain about the difficulty being low but you've got to remember that this game is worlds apart from what we usually get on the DS & I can easily see me playing this over and over once I've finished this.

So far I'd give this 8/10

Well Suikoden II is old and maybe now they've changed policy - but at the time I bought quite a few games, and was pure frustration having to travel miles to get a game a main retailer refused to sell.

I have a local independant game retailer close to where I live now, and they average £5 cheaper than in game stores, so I'm happy [IMG]
