I recommend a 16 gb because it is not too expensive and you get a fair decent amount of storage.

32 GB pricey? A good one is about the price of a single eshop game these days.
But for the DStwo, I do think it's overkill. For 3DS, a descent size perhaps.

I originally got a 32gb with my DsTwo, but I realized even with all the emulators and roms I wanted, I was using less than 7 gb, so I put the 32 in my phone and used a 8gb for my dstwo.

See I have a 32gb for mine but I also have every nes, snes, gb, gbc, gba, ds, game gear and sega roms on it as well as a bunch of mame and point and clicks. It takes up approx 20 gig

I say go with 32. 8GB is about $8, 16 $11, 32 $16, 64 $34 bang for buck 32GB is it right now.

Anything smaller than 32 is not going to have many other useful applications. if you have extra space on it? A good place toms stash some near-line files you want to keep private. :)
