Hacking Sorry, but..is the download & play of MKDS fixed?

I was just wondering since I have the (U) version of MKDS, and on the review from this site, it said the download and play doesn't work, but I was wondering if the firmware updates have fixed it, or if there are other versions that work (but have to be in English).

About flashme, some people on the forums say it doesn't work. Like nonflashed to flashme using R4 :/ Can anybody personally say otherwise?

There are some additional features. Firmware recovery, optionally removing the health screen, etc.

Apparently it removes RSA encryption to allow download play off any card, but supposedly it doesn't work too well on R4.

I have a Nintendo USB Wifi adapter, will I be able to play online with the R4?

Online should work fine, it's the local download play that doesn't work on all games with an R4. Many other cards have this issue too, not just R4.

some games work and others dont, strangely for me the download

and play on Mario Kart works fine,

yes, Just flash both DS's. Then you never have problems with download play again.
i own two DS's (Phat + R4 and Lite + EZ4lite), works like a charm. plus i also used to use the method with old GBA flashcarts.

Okay I've just checked for myself.

My sisters unflashed DSL (trying to convince her to flash it >_>) broadcasting Mario Kart, NSMB and Metroid to my flashed DSL = not working.

I'll try again when I've flashed hers.

Tested with 2 flashed DSL's. Broadcasting with R4 still doesn't work. Nice

If it doesn't work to flashed DSs, you've overtrimmed your ROM. Or gotten a bad dump/repack.

I tried it with the clean rom and with my trimmed one (using DS-X manager). Neither of them worked. It's the R4. I used my M3 Lite and Metroid was able to connect and start

sorry to bump an old topic..I just realized this flaw in the R4..this is a problem that I never knew existed O.o.....!!!!

As we have had several enquiries regarding CycloDS Evolution's compatibility with single-card download play, we have decided to make our test results available to the public. We have compiled a list of games which have problems with single-card download play in conjunction with other flash cards, and have tested this functionality in each of the games while running on CycloDS Evolution. In each of these tests the receiving NDS was NOT flashed and was running on the factory firmware. The results are as follows:

Is it posible then that the r4 gets a simmular firmware upgrade?

If this limitation is caused by something on the hardware, then no, it'll never work.

G6DS has improved their download play in a recent OS update (now supports Mario Kart!)
