My guess is that the staff at gbatemp is quitting the rom scene and now developing games, they were just liscened by Nintendo to develop Mario Kart.

My guess...

At the Nintendo preview thing that people are playing Mario Kart DS. The single kart game sends the multiplayer game to the other DS's. This multiplayer part of the game was then dumped and it going to be out soon as a release. Just a guess.

It's an open demo and not a rom, anyone attending these conventions can play them without paying a penny. So my guess is that it is legal.

b) A Mario Kart DS tourny
c) A Mario Kart DS Dump
